A few weeks ago, I shared how honored I was that my photography had been chosen for Illuminations, the art program at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cancer Center. Today, I'm delighted to say that the images are officially up—and they look wonderful in their new home.
I'm deeply grateful to Jayne and Lorrie at MGH, who have been fantastic to work with in bringing this vision to life. Their thoughtful approach to creating healing environments aligns perfectly with what I strive for through Soothing Scapes—using imagery to bring comfort and calm to healthcare settings.
Walking into the space and seeing my landscapes and seascapes carefully arranged on the walls reinforced my belief in how powerfully an environment can impact our sense of well-being. In a waiting area often filled with anxiety and uncertainty, these soothing images offer a gentle escape, a chance to pause, breathe, and find a moment of peace.
The images will remain on display for several months, and I hope they continue to provide comfort and a sense of calm to all who pass through the center.
Thank you again to the Illuminations program at MGH for including my work—and for recognizing art’s meaningful role in healing.
